Hi, I’m Chef, I’ve been travelling the world with my wife and boys since 2012. It’s a great gig being a nomadic dad. Occasionally I still work as a Chef in London’s finest hotels, but we’ve developed an online income and lower cost of living that allows us to travel more or less full-time. So where have we been?
This is a list but it doesn’t tell the full story, many of these countries we’ve visited 2, 3, 6 times, often spending months at a time. But just to give you an idea of what you’ll find on our websites, these are the destinations we’ve covered so far.
Australia I’m an Aussie, we lived in Queensland for years.
Malaysia We bought a 1 way ticket to Kuala Lumpur and made it up from there.
Thailand Bangkok feels like home. 6 weeks on Ko Phangan and much more exploring.
Laos 6 glorious weeks,
Cambodia A full month, including Angkor Wat, Battambang and Kampot.
Sri Lanka Our favourite, a full month, three times.
India 1 month with the kids, but before they came along, 3 months.
Nepal 1 month trekking Everest in 2016, the Annapurna circuit pre-kids
UK London is one of our homes, Wales another
USA Extended road trips, from frozen Niagara falls to the deep south and Key West by road.
Canada Why not? Just a short drive over the border.
Guatemala A month in Antigua but we adored the lake and Tikal
El Salvador Because it was there, a cool trip.
Romania We fell in love with Romania and stayed in a remote mountain village, right through winter to ski.

Spain Amazing food!
France More amazing food
Belgium, You guessed it, moules, frites, fruit beer and waffles
Germany Sausages and Steins
Czech Republic We broke down near Prague. Beautiful cities and delicious food
Greece 3 weeks, a treat for my son, he loves mythology
Dubai We’re always passing through
2 Trans Atlantic cruises because they’re fun and cheaper than flying.
And we’ve got no plans to stop! Stick around and watch this list grow.
